Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation and Mindfulness are based on ancient Eastern practices that utilize breath and awareness techniques. Modern research shows that Meditation and Mindfulness are associated with a variety of emotional, mental, and physical health benefits, such as decreased symptoms of post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and physical pain or tension, as well as improved sleep, attentional abilities, and feelings of groundedness.

Our instructors help clients develop Meditation and Mindfulness skills tailored to their unique needs and goals. Our clients have reported that gaining these skills has enhanced their ability to engage in and benefit from the necessary but more challenging emotional aspects of psychotherapy work as well, allowing them to achieve greater progress in their mental health and self-growth journey. Regardless of the specific goal for this practice, Meditation and Mindfulness skills contribute to feeling more connected to yourself and the world around you, less impacted by stressors, and overall greater peace and relaxation.

Instruction is provided in one-on-one, couples, or group format. Once a working relationship has been established, our instructors can also support you by creating customized recordings for your practice.
